It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. Worth Dimes, Llc is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community. With a variety of active projects and staff, we harness our skills and resources to successfully achieve our goals.

Why would anyone name their company Worth Dimes? Have you ever heard of the saying "you ain't worth a dime"? There was a life changing story that inspired the name. In order to understand the name in its' entirety, you must first hear the whole story.

There was a man who grew up with a terrible father that told he that he might as well give up because he wasn't worth a dime. The man grew up with low self-esteem and really believed he would amount to nothing. When his father passed away, he was given a van. He would play the local rock station when he was alone in the van. He then met his wife and settled down. One day she took the van and put in on a Christian radio station. When the man next drove his van, he went to change the station, and it wouldn't change. He drove for months like this. The family then needed a bigger car and he sold the van. As soon as the purchaser got in, he was able to change the radio station. This sure shocked the man. A couple weeks went by and the purchaser needed to return the van for some unforeseen reason. The man took back the van and when he got in and turned on the radio, it was once again stuck on the Christian radio station and he couldn't get it to change. One day, he took the radio out to see what the problem was. Once he removed the radio from the dash, lodged in the back was one single dime. It was in this moment, that this man understood that he was always worth the dime and will forever be worth the dime.

While we are not founded on spiritual beliefs, we are founded on the moral of the story: Everyone is worth a dime no matter what. In our partnership with The Hope House Foundation and Stork Baby: Teen Mom Rescue, we want to show our clients that they matter from the moment they enter our programs and services until they exit.
